Johnson County has two drug drop boxes at the
Johnson County Sheriff's Station

and the
Johnson County Community Hospital

These boxes are available for drop off 24/7.
Through CLD It, we work with our local pharmacies and health care providers to promote safe storage of prescription medications within the home. We have lock boxes in our office for community members. Through our PFS Rx Grant, we are able to give these out for FREE to any community member who needs one. Stop in and get yours today!
We are trained local distributors of Naloxone. We have it in the Narcan nasal spray. We are able to give these out to community members for FREE. We do require a training for anyone who needs a Narcan kit. It takes about 5-10 minutes.
We also can provide trainings to any organizations wishing to train their staff on Naloxone.
